First impressions on the success of the "Rush!" era
On January 20th, 2023, Måneskin released their new album - "RUSH!".
Days before, the band released a mysterious teaser in partnership with Spotify, in which guitarist Thomas Raggi played the wedding march - followed by a date: 01.19.2023
Soon, the mystery was revealed: a day before the release, Måneskin threw a wedding-themed pre-release party for the album. They also held a symbolic union ceremony for the group where they even exchanged vows, led by fashion designer Alessandro Michele.
Many celebrities were invited, among them: Paulo Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Oriana Sabatini, Machine Gun Kelly, Baz Luhrmann, Benedetta Porcaroli and others.
"“For the past years, our music, life and love passed by quickly. That’s why we want to celebrate them in the name of Rock. Welcome to this rite in which we swear loyalty to ourselves and to our fans. You’ll all be witnesses: Rock now or forever hold your peace.”
On social media, the initial mystery had legs for a while: the hashtag #MarriedInARush sparked curiosity and followed the album’s release for almost 24h.
